DANCE COMPETITION IN ADVENTURE ISLAND -
MRV’ GLARED AT DELHI’S TALENT HUNT MRV School Dwarka Adventure Island Rohini, organized a Talent Hunt Competition on 5th November this year. The competition was related to dance and music. 25 students of different school participated in this category. Instead of modern dance forms such as western dance, hip-hop etc. which can be imitated and performed, classical style of dance is rather very difficult and demands sincere dedication. Ashwathy Nair of VIII B of MRV School, Dwarka is such a student and has prove her devotion in the classical dance- Bharatnatyam. She gave a superb performance and was declared the proud winner of 1st position. Not only had this she got a scholarship of Rs.1000 /- per month and free membership of Adventure Island for one year. She has won many such competitions and MRV is proud to have such talent in the school.

Winter Break -
School will remain closed w .e .f 10th Jan, to 15th Jan 2012 and will reopen w.e.f 16th Jan, 2012 for classes Nursery to 5thd standard. For classes 6th onwards school will function as usual.The decision has been taken keeping in view of the weather conditions.

Winter Carnival -
18 Dec., 2011 came out to be a whole day of enjoyment for MRVians . Winter carnival was organized at MRV with great pomp and show. The carnival was open to all and a huge enthusiastic crowd could be seen eagerly waiting for their turn at various stalls with attractive prizes. The mayor of Delhi Mrs. Rajni Abbi was invited as the Chief Guest.

International Youth Day -
“Arise! Awake! Stop Not! Till the desired goal is achieved” MRV celebrated his 49th birth anniversary by celebrating it throughout the week in the school. Students of all the classes were involved in it and the target was to impart the knowledge of the qualities of Maharishi to each and every student in the school.

Van Mahotsav on Teacher’s Day

. The students have half day. The special assembly was conducted in basement hall as the weather was not good. Many programmes were performed by students. Mrs. Kusum Alluwalia, honorable Director of our school addressed us all. After that the cards made by students of SUPW gave all the teachers as a regard. After the assembly was over the Teachers and students move to their respected classed. In class a small party was thrown by students as a respect for Teachers. Many competitions were organized for students. Teachers also celebrated Van Mahotsav which was inaquarted by Honorable Chairman Sir Mr. O.P.Babbra. He planted a sapling and after that every teacher planted a sapling. Soon after teachers relished on to food and also went to watch a movie.
